At some point, even for people who are famous political animals, as Kennedy is, the politics stop and they just want to sit and look at the ocean with family.
Trouble is.. Americans are still Americans and the media is still the media.

I was watching MSNBC when they showed that, and it was just awful.
What's better.. to know when you're going to die, and for Kennedy, it could be as little as a few months, or just suddenly be gone? From what little info I know about Kennedy, he seems a flawed guy (and who isn't?) that has his heart in the right place.
It's just too bad. Sometimes I just want to freeze time, because I know that the here and now is likely the best time - and then you just hit cruise control to the inevitable... and then, you're gone.. swallowed by history, never to be heard from again.
But for right now.. we're going to have to listen to the talking heads on the teevee tell us that they are broaching a sensitive topic, but their viewers want to know, what does Kennedy's terminal illness mean for the presidential election?
If I were on the "panel", my response would be..
"It has nothing to do with it you morbid freak, now shut the fuck up."
I doubt they'd invite me back.
