Question of the Day

Would conservatives be pleased to have Condoleezza Rice as Vice President?

/edit

David Gregory replaced the awful Tucker Carlson on MSNBC a few weeks back. I've watched the show a number of times to get an impression. Gregory is bland. Tucker might have been crazy, but he was more entertaining to watch. I just don't think Gregory leaves much of a personality impression.

The show format is also very strange. They have 4 "panelists" (talking heads) offering opinions on Gregory's questions.. All 4 are in different studios, so they have one camera on each person, from straight on forward. Sometimes when one person is talking, they'll switch to a camera focused on another person.. and that person is doing nothing but sitting there, looking into the camera. It's unsettling.

The person pictured there is straight. How do you think I know that?

Due to your obsession with buttoned down collars, I'm putting my money on that.

Partially correct.. The tie is not properly tightened to the collar.. and the color is a horror.. the shirt is awful in quality.. and yes, button down collars are evil.. the shape is all wrong and it causes problems with the tie. You can see that gap where the collar doesn't actually meet just above the tie..

A proper shirt doesn't need buttons.. the collar should lay flat.. and some shirts have a little button/tab thing that goes under the tie and pulls the collar inward a bit.. which looks really good with a smaller tie knot for a thinner and slimmer look. I like those types of shirts and have several.

I can't imagine dressing like that to appear on a network show. It looks like he bought it all at Wal-Mart... it does make a difference.

I can't imagine looking at Matthew Continetti and his neocon Weekly Standard face.

I prefer the twit, Carlson.
