Obama Speak

In case you haven't seen it, it's remarkable. There's been a lot of talk about Obama's speech, and that's a good thing. There's a reason the Republican party is overwhelmingly comprised of old white men. Obama says it like it is.. and it's such a refreshing change of pace from the monkeys we've seen the past 7 years.

It's odd that Obama has to forcefully repudiate some comments from his pastor, but John McCain can suckle John Hagee and Pat Robertson..

The larger point I would make - that I really don't see the pundits talking about - is that organized religion, and their leaders, are crazy as fuck. It doesn't matter if they're liberal leftists, or conservative right wing loons, they're insane.

Organized religion is the problem..

Whoever setup the audio for the speech should never be allowed to do it again. Throughout the speech, every time Obama's hand hit the podium, there was a thunk in the audio. A great speech that will be played over and over has bad audio.. ugh
