Glenn Beck is an Idiot

A Right Wing Loon had a bad day at the doctors office.. *sniff*

"The politicians are right that we have a health care crisis in this country," he said. "Where they're wrong is that it's not going to be solved by government, it's not going to be solved by getting the HMOs out, it's not going to be solved by a new marbled-lobby health center," he said. "It's by hiring people that understand about caring for people."

But then Beck is yet another of those conservative morons that oppose substantive health care change in this country just because it's a liberal issue, and they must oppose any liberal issues, even if it leaves them a bloody mess.

How does Beck propose "hiring people that care about people", as opposed (apparently) to hiring people who don't give a shit about people? Is there a "people caring" machine that applicants can be tested with? Do you ask a candidate if they give a shit, expecting those that don't to say "nah.. fuck those assholes"?

Stupid.. stupid.. stupid.. I've seen so much vapid stupidity in this health care debate than can be imagined, and it truly does perplex me how people could possibly be that stupid.

It's all really simple. Health care in America is a "for profit" industry. Insurance companies make more profit by charging higher premiums and paying providers less.

And THAT is why Glenn Beck's doctor, quite literally, tore him a new asshole.
