Took me a few days to get to this.. but 11-1? Nice..
I used to be a big fan of the Cowboys back in the Aikman/Smith days.. and since Tony Romo took over mid-way through last season, I'm really back into the team. I'm even disliking Terrel Owens less now.. despite him handing a touchdown pass over to Al Harris in the Greenbay Game.
The Cowboys still give up big plays.. and still make stupid mistakes.. but man their offense is good.. and Romo came out of nowhere and is playing like a top tier NFL quarterback. The Cowboys even have a bunch of white players.. and no.. I'm not racist, but I like to see white guys on the team... and not just at the quarterback and kicker positions.
DeMarcus.. sheeeeeit! That man is a force on the defense.. but that chef.. ohhhh now that's nice..
But getting back to Romo.. there are some people I call GPLW... for "gene pool lottery winner". Romo is not only a GPLW, but he also won the extreme talent at a popular sport lottery.. resulting in him becoming rich, famous, and able to have sex with anybody he wants to merely by pointing at them. Now, I'm a bit different in that I don't think Romo is hot.. but if he pointed at me.. I guess I'd have to do it, just because he's that awesome..
I mean.. look at the guy. Doesn't he look like a Hollywood movie star?
In other news.. people in the midwest are freezing to death, and here in Texas, it'll be in the 60's and 70's all week.. in December.. There are any number of reasons that living in Texas sucks.. all related to the craziness of the religious freaks.. but the weather in this city is really good the vast majority of the year.
Oh.. and I hope Favre is feeling better.. He's kind of a hero (if I have such a thing) in that he's nearly my age and still kicking ass in a young man's sport. He's even got more gray hair than I do. Actually.. I have no gray hair yet.. which is kind of my own gene pool lottery win.
