That says a lot about Doug's character.. and truly is in keeping with how I've been describing conservatives here for a few years now. It is why I use Doug and the Loons as terrific examples of their ideology. I will continue to do that as Doug continues to spew lies.
Further - I tried to find some additional background information on the so-called "Constitutional expert", "Loki", who went into freak territory the last show. I could find nothing, no blog.. nothing on his blogtalk page.. nothing.
I should have asked him where he got his law degree from, or his government PhD. I suspect, without any explanation from him, that he is nothing but yet another conservative nut job.
I'm no Constitutional expert, by any stretch, but I can read.
28 United States Code, Section 1291:This gives the Supreme Court the authority that Loki denies it has.
The courts of appeals (other than the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit) shall have jurisdiction of appeals from all final decisions of the district courts of the United States, the United States District Court for the District of the Canal Zone, the District Court of Guam, and the District Court of the Virgin Islands, except where a direct review may be had in the Supreme Court. The jurisdiction of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit shall be limited to the jurisdiction described in sections 1292 (c) and (d) and 1295 of this title.
How amazing that not only do we have a far freak loon claiming that mankind dates back 6000 years (our species dates back over 200,000 years in the fossil record), but also employs the services of his "friend" the "scholar" who espouses views in direct contradiction of the United States Government.
My guess is that he's walled up in a "compound" in Montana.
