I keep hearing that a lot about Giuliani. Apparently he gets the label because he was the mayor of New York when the attacks on 9/11 happened. He must have done something heroic to earn the label, right?
Umm.. no..
He was simply the mayor of New York on 9/11.. walked around the rubble, and told people to do things. That's, you know, the job of the mayor and doesn't deserve any special distinction as, say, a firefighter who actually saved somebody's life.
It's not that I'm that opposed to Giuliani getting the nomination. Whoever the repubs nominate, that person is going to get stomped. They're a very lack luster bunch, and the vast majority of Americans despise Bush. That'll have a significant effect at the ballot box.
If Rudi gets the nomination, it'll be fun to plaster this image all over the place. And no.. not making it up.. this is actually him in drag..
Newt Gingrich is also making noise again about entering the race. Most people hate him too, but what I would do is just make an ad for teevee showing Newt's picture, with the text;
"Divorced 3 times, including a wife who was in the hospital receiving cancer treatment at the time."
But make no mistake, the MSM will bend over backwards to try and support the right wing loon candidate.

In a seperate matter, I was browsing Skydive Ricks site because I was bored...holy shit! That Phil guy must seriously have something wrong. It's not even witty sarcasm...it's just stupid.
And Rick is completely wrong on most everything, as usual.
