Burger and fries.. yay!

I've been trying to do the KC diet (Karen Carpenter).. and every week it's the same thing.. I do pretty well early in the week, but right now I'm fantasizing about Scotty P's Burgers.. They're really good and both the fries and onion rings are awesome..

It doesn't help that my job is very odd and I sit around a lot just sort of thinking about the great mysteries of life, so I'm not busy enough to take my mind off it..

See.. the idea is this.. When I used to work out a lot, I did fine but never could get rid of the excess fat around my mid section because I was eating a lot and using some nutritional supplements and such.. which are great for building muscle tissue, but do nothing for getting rid of fat. So.. I've been trying to get rid of the fat first by dieting, and then after that's done, start working out and eating a lot..

I'm kind of having a problem with the discipline needed to behave like a super model. The burger is calling to me... and I'm pretty sure I'm going to answer the call on my way home from work.. thus undoing the suffering I did the first half of this week.

It's really stupid I know.. and I've been using all sorts of excuses for not getting serious about it... The latest was my sinus issues and surgery.. but that's pretty much resolved now, and isn't a valid excuse anymore.
