Reminder

Scott Adams is very good this week. Make sure you read him regularly, from the bottom up.

Adams is dead to me after he picked the Colts to beat the Bears 27-7. Dead to me.

Lol, you need to come back to WoW, cause I got noone to tell the bears suck to.

Oh, but I guess I can do it here... the bears suck.

Colts will win but 27-7 is a little off... I'm thinking 20-14.

From Scott Adams -

"As you know, there are two types of car singing. There’s the kind you do when you are alone in the car, and I think we can all agree that it hurts no one. Granted, I don’t want to see you “Riding Dirty” in your Hyundai even if I can’t hear you. It’s a form of visual pollution. But as long as I can look away, it’s no big deal."

What about me "Riding Dirty" in my lac.

Bears win 31-21. Urlacher MVP. You heard it here first!

(yes I realize that is an emotional and not a logical pick)

I don't think you can help it..

Perhaps. Lacking free will I have no choice but to pick the Bears, haha!

(But, in defense of logic, the Bears have the better defense and special teams and scored the exact same amount of points as the Colts during the regular season. In addition, the last 10 or so (i forget the exact number) Super Bowl winners had a top-10 scoring defense. The Bears, 3rd; the Colts, 22nd. Just saying....

The colts defense has really stepped up in the playoffs. But yes, if they play like they did in the reg season they're going to get rolled over... well assuming grossman and whoever they got running the ball actually come ready to play.

I'm expecting a defensive style game, but even if the colts don't show I reckon peyton will find a way to score whatever is needed vs the bears defense.

So if the colts defense shows I stand by my score above, if they don't, I still bet the colts win but there will be many more points scored.

Just a few other rationalizations to throw out there:

1. The Bears have been able to run the ball all year. The Colts have only been able to stop it during the last 3 games (the playoffs). In comparing the two, do you go with the one that's been good recently, or the one that's been good all year long? Also, remember when Indy gave up the most rushing yards in a game since the 1970's to JAX this year? Food for thought.

2. The Saints, not the Colts, were the #1 ranked offense this year. The Bears held them down. Plus Manning hasn't exactly been great in the postseason - no TD drives against the Ravens; 2 TD's vs. 6 int's in the playoffs, etc...

3. The Colts were one of the worst punt and kickoff coverage teams this year. The Bears' Devin Hester set a record for return TD's in a season. Could be a big-time difference maker.

4. They just put an article up on ESPN comparing Rex Grossman's year to Phil Simms' year in 1986, when Simms had an erratic regular season and then exploded in the Super Bowl. Just saying it can be done.

1) There's something to be said about the atmosphere in the playoffs. When you're the colts and you are as good as the colts I imagine it could be hard to play your A game when you went 8-0 to start the season and have pretty much a garaunteed playoff spot. So it doens't suprise me that they're playing great ball right now.

2) Same rationalization on the not being the "#1" offense. As for Manning having an off playoffs I go back to how he just gets things done. I don't care what his TD to INT ratio is, all that matters is he's 2-0 and lookin for a third win.

3) Yes this scares me. But this is also what's going to keep the game close and make it very exciting to watch. I think Hester will be the difference between a good game and a blow out, but not enough to secure them the win.

4) Sure it can be done. And I don't think Grossman is horrible, look at the first few games of the season. People were like holy shit this guy rocks. Well then he just kind of stunk it up a few games, but they still managed to win. I think Grossman will have a good game, but again, Manning, Harrison and company along with a defense that's really proven itself lately are going to be just too much for the bears.

It all comes down to how far Rex Grossman has his head in his ass. I really think the Bears win or loss will depend on him.

Oh yeah, and the reader portfolio bombing was kinda lol.

However, the article on the disorder he suffers from was quite good.
