I've been feeling like hell with a cold, but better today. Should be fine tomorrow. I know.. everyone is relieved..

But good news today. Pretty remarkable actually. Nancy Pelosi is the new Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. That's.. a woman.. liberal.. from San Francisco. That's 2nd in line for the Presidency. You never know.. a bike accident and a coronary.. and viola!

In other news.. Barney Frank is the new Chair of the Financial Services Committee.. that's Barney Frank.. flaming liberal homosexual.

John Conyers, Jr. is the new chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.. That's a flaming liberal black man as the chair.

Next up is the '08 presidential election. I'm pulling for Al Gore, backed up by Barack Obama as veep.

And just a reminder.. I remember when that stupid fuck, LBM, told me I was going to be disappointed after I posted my mid-term election prediction. You'll recall I predicted +30 in the house, and +7 in the senate. The actual totals were +31 and +6.

This is only the beginning. This new wave of instant communications, video, and people powered media and politics is going to completely destroy the right wing.

Oh.. and Pat Robertson says we're all going to die in '07. I'll bet that when it doesn't happen, he'll say that he saved us all by begging God to put it off.
