This stuff was hugely influential for me as I grew up. There is not doubt in my mind that Rush is the greatest rock band in history. Yes, that includes the Beatles and The Rolling Stones, et. all. The sound quality isn't terrific.. but it's 30 years old.. Youtube has tons of old and rare Rush footage and it's fun to look through them. You can really see what a master each of them are. Alex is very nearly doing a Nigel Tufnell snear.
Latest news is that they're in a studio recording a new album due out the middle of next year.
