When wing-nuts collide

ABC's Teddy Davis reports: In a radio interview with 700 WLW radio in Cincinnati, House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) placed responsibility for the Foley matter not being handled properly on House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL).

"I believe I talked to the Speaker and he told me it had been taken care of," said Boehner. "And, and, and my position is it's in his corner, it's his responsibility. The Clerk of the House who runs the page program, the Page Board—all report to the Speaker. And I believe it had been dealt with."

Please note that by saying that he talked with the Speaker about Foley, Boehner is reversing course and going back to his original position.
They're throwing Denny under the bus. Stick a fork in him.. etc..

But the essence of this story still irritates the fuck out of me. We have a Republican Congressman doing some stupid shit with some congressional pages. That, in itself, is disturbing. The guy is obviously one of those guilt ridden, in denial gays that hates himself. If he had just been honest with himself going years back, he might have developed a more normal social life. But of course he would never had been elected to Congress from Florida - and that's the fault of society at large.

And to top it off.. the issue that is going to blow up the Republican party is NOT Iraq. It's NOT bungled policy. It's dick.

Good lord we live in an incredibly fucked up society..
