Malls suck

I generally hate crowds, they annoy me, but the mall near my house (it's huge) delivers a new level of annoyance. They have no store directory anywhere in the mall. You know how they usually have a map, with numbers, and a store list with numbers so you can find what you want? Doesn't exist at this mall. I'm sure they do that to force you to wander around until you find what you want with the idea that you'll see other stores and suddenly get the urge to buy things from them as well.

Fuck that..

So.. we're off in a couple days, and I wanted to get a couple more pairs of shorts. Why do shorts come in "pairs"? It's one shorts, not two. Anyway.. it's October, so naturally summer wear is nowhere to be found, except some discount racks with crap. I don't wear crap, I'm gay. They'll boot me out of the club if I wear crap. So, I ended up finding some shorts that I liked. They were exactly what I was looking for as I'm particular about that.. and of course they are Ralph Lauren... and naturally they are not discounted, and they are at an upscale department store that adds a premium. Those two pair of shorts cost me more than what most Americans make in a day.

I've noticed that as I get older and make more money, my spending expands. Crap that I didn't care about before just won't do anymore. Maybe that's being a snob.. but I just can't do it. I do, however, keep control on expenses better than most people. I just don't buy as much shit.. but when I buy shit, it doesn't suck.. because you do generally get what you pay for.

The shorts are cool...

Oh, that would be a sight! Tom in a floral print! I'm laughing hysterically just thinking about it. I'm ready to leave for Hawaii NOW!
