I get phone calls

Normally I wouldn't blog about this.. but I'm bored...

I just got a phone call from a hospital about some bit of code that I wrote. I virtually never get calls from hospitals because there is a tiered level support in any organization, and the developer is at the very top of that tier. You just don't disturb the uber geeks while they're "working". Anyway.. my name is on the patch and so they looked up my number and phoned me.. Fair enough..

But the problem.. is that there is a certain piece of data that is missing from their surgical cases that is preventing the completion of the case.. and of course when you do the "which one of these is not like the other" diagnostic approach, it turns out the problem only relates to E.C.T. procedures..

It's shocking...
