August 3, 2006 - Lamont Leads Lieberman 54 - 41 In Dem Primary, Quinnipiac University Connecticut Poll Finds; Malloy Gains Some Ground In Governor's PrimaryThing is, it's hard to be hopeful about any elections at all since the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. Both elections showed polling in favor of the Democrat, and we all know the disaster that followed. I remember following the electoral vote web site day after day after day, and it showed a convincing Kerry win was all but certain.
Momentum for Ned Lamont, the anti-war Connecticut U.S. Senate candidate, increases as he rolls to a 54 - 41 percent lead over incumbent Sen. Joseph Lieberman among likely Democratic primary voters, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
This compares to a 51 - 47 percent Lamont lead among likely Democratic primary voters in a July 20 poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.
Click it.. here: Seriously.. look at it. That web site tracked and averaged all the polling for each state on regular intervals. That link is for November 1, 2004, the day before the election.
Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 298 Bush 231
No matter how good something looks, real-life is not like the movies. Most times, the bad guys win.. you just don't know they're the bad guys at the time... and call me a moonbat conspiracy theorist if you want. I'm absolutely convinced that both the 2000 and 2004 elections were fraud ridden travesties, stolen by a corrupt government that created the mess of the world we have today.

You MOONBAT you.....just kidding. Anyone with a shred of common sense can take a look at it and say what you just said, but it's easier for most people to say thats the way the politcal ballot crumbles. Well crumble it did. This country has been in a bad downslide ver since Bush got elected. I just can't believe the Amercan public accepts all this as normal. I certainly don't. I was a police officer for 23 years, and believe me, I saw political corruption at many levels of the local government, I can only imagine what takes place in Washington. It scare the hell out of me to think where we are being led, and by whom.

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA — “This may be the worst security flaw we have seen in touch screen voting machines,” says Open Voting Foundation president, Alan Dechert. Upon examining the inner workings of one of the most popular paperless touch screen voting machines used in public elections in the United States, it has been determined that with the flip of a single switch inside, the machine can behave in a completely different manner compared to the tested and certified version.
“Diebold has made the testing and certification process practically irrelevant,” according to Dechert. “If you have access to these machines and you want to rig an election, anything is possible with the Diebold TS — and it could be done without leaving a trace. All you need is a screwdriver.”
