Rapture Ready?

Hey.. maybe they weren't kidding after all.

As we've seen the last few days, Syria and Iran are using Hezbollah to piss off the Israelis. There are a lot of people itchin' for a holy war, including the chimpanzee running the United States. One can only hope that the right wingers sign up for the war this time.

According to the rapture christians, we need to keep an eye out for Israel dropping a big fucking nuke on Damascus;

Today many nations are stirred up by Israel's response to the Hezbollah rocket attack and kidnapping. They say it's extreme, not appropriate to the circumstances. Many believe that Syria will soon try to provoke a Jewish response, and Israel's 72 hour ultimatum may be their cue. If that should cause a further escalation we can easily envision a scenario that includes the final fulfillment of Isaiah 17, the destruction of Damascus.

The phrase "rushing of many waters" is often used to describe a loud voice. Such an escalation would certainly cause an incredible uproar among the nations, and many loud voices.

If you listen carefully, you can almost hear the footsteps of the Messiah. Updated 07-15-06.
I find it ironic.. the Christians being giddy about the prospect of millions dying as Damascus is vaporized by nuclear weapons.

If that happens, I'll be hedging my bets and converting to bat-shit crazy Christianity too.

But on a slightly more serious note; the tension in the middle east is as high as I can remember, and the "leader of the free world" is George W. Bush. This is a man that cannot pronounce the word "nuclear".

Way to go America.

** update **

As Jesus' General points out, the good christians over at Exploit Ministries (exploit is appropriate name) are all pleased that war seems to be breaking out in the Middle East. The christian's were very upset that a gay "pride" day was going to be held in Jerusalem, and they are praising God that He would use a war of death and destruction to prevent the homos from having a party.

Military events in Israel are now likely to force the cancellation of the World Pride homosexual desecration of Jerusalem next month.

Believers in Israel and all over the world have been bombarding Heaven for God to intervene. But sometimes God answers in ways that nobody wants. War is never pleasant, but its security demands take precedence over something as frivolous as a gay parade.
