Bubba will not pound Unka Karl

It's like being told there is no God...

The decision by the prosecutor, Patrick J. Fitzgerald, announced in a letter to Mr. Rove's lawyer, Robert D. Luskin, lifted a pall that had hung over Mr. Rove who testified on five occasions to a federal grand jury about his involvement in the disclosure of an intelligence officer's identity.

In a statement, Mr. Luskin said, "On June 12, 2006, Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald formally advised us that he does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove."

Mr. Fitzgerald's spokesman, Randall Samborn, said he would not comment on Mr. Rove's status.
The past 6 years have been a political nightmare. If you look at the national polls, Americans agree. But Karl Rove is like Michael Myers. You just can't stop him, and he will win, every single time.

Sometimes I blame Hollywood for making movies where the good guy wins in the end, because that's just not how it works. I've always said that I'd like to make a movie where the good guy gets killed right at the climax and the bad guys escape with the money.. That's real life.

Still more amusing photos from the AP though...
