Bad shit happens..

The Haditha incident where marines stormed two houses and killed two dozen people was sparked as a result of an IED that killed another marine. The passenger in the vehicle that was struck has given an interview to the news media.

Michel Malkin, right wing media pundit and seriously disturbed bitch, posted a bit of the interview.

Crossan: Things happen every day that you just don't hear about. You, I don't know, America only hears about the bad things over there. And they don't hear any of the good things. America just doesn't understand.

I think they [the Marines] were just blinded by hate, when they see T.J. (Terrazas) blown to pieces and me stuck underneath the wheel not knowing what happened. And they just lost control. Bad things happen.

Yes, bad things happen in any war. Well, since "mission accomplished" this really isn't a war, right? It's an occupation.

In any case, it really isn't surprising that some marines would indiscriminately shoot people in the head. There never is a clean war. What makes Malkin disgusting is that she morally approves of it due to the insurgent use of kids as spotters and such.

It really is a horror. The right wing has no problem rounding up and executing anyone.. men, women, children.. innocent/guilty, armed/unarmed, good/bad, threatening or not, and simply shooting them in the head.

It's a weird way they they view the world and humanity as inherently dangerous and evil. When you consider how a serial killer like Ted Bundy can justify his actions, realize that many on the right wing, like Malkin, are just a different shade of the same sociopathy. It is an inherent lack of empathy, and weird detached sense of morality.

The marines involved bear a lifetime of horror in having looked a 5 year old child in the eyes and pulling the trigger, but the ultimate horror belongs to those that set the policy in motion, and put those men in the position of having to die and kill.. for what?

To extend this weird moral positioning by those that have simply co-opted the word, consider the personality of those right wingers that agree. They are typically religious, thus prone to the inability to think critically, and are prone to delusions of all sorts.

All of this death and destruction has come about because of their fear of the boogeyman that they honestly believe it is simply waiting for a chance to kill everyone.

They really do need help.
