The Book of Daniel

I noticed at Americablog that the "American Family (of right wing Christian fascist freaks) Association" is organizing a boycott of NBC sponsors because The Book of Daniel actually portrays a family as real people with flaws. They actually have gay characters whose minister father doesn't hate them.. and so on.

I wrote letters to NBC head honchos asking them to resist the freaks. I'm sure they won't give in to the assholes.

It's a really great show by the way. Jesus on the show seems to me to represent what I envisioned Jesus would be like.. assuming Jesus was a real person and all that.

** update **

News on another show I like.

"Jason Lee, if you haven't heard, has the chicken pox," Kevin Reilly, president of NBC Entertainment, announced Sunday at the Television Critics Association meeting in Pasadena. "Jason is actually quite sick and is going to be out of the show for about two or three weeks."

Reilly also announced the good news for Earl, revealing that NBC had ordered an additional 24 episodes for next year.
My Name is Earl is a really funny show. The characters and acting is great.

I didn't know it, but Jason Lee was in Almost Famous. That was a really great movie.
