Not this time

My impression of what is going on right now is that the right wing is not going to be able to spin out of this one.

I think the media is done carrying water for Bush. I've been watching video clips and reading transcripts of the major news outlets, and they are universal in bashing the hell out of Bush and the federal government.

And while this is really not the greatest time for "playing politics" I really don't care. Politics does matter, and it does have a huge impact on people's lives, and it's important (assuming we want to continue living in this country) that we get the right people in leadership positions.

And just because I like to say it often - to all our Republican and Bush voters. Once again, I told you so. Actually, a lot of us told you so, but you voted for him anyway. Us lefties saw this coming miles away and years ago. We knew what kind of man he is. We know what kind of movement the right wing is.

Get with the program already.
