The peaceful are murdered

Christian leaders have paid tribute to an internationally celebrated apostle of church unity, Brother Roger, 90, who was stabbed to death in front of 2,500 young people in his own church in Taiz, Burgundy.

Brother Roger was attacked by a 36-year-old Romanian woman as he said prayers at the last of the three daily services at the Taiz ecumenical community, which he founded in 1940.

The woman, named only as Luminita, slashed the frail, Swiss-born prior three times in the throat as he sat surrounded by local children, addressing a congregation of young people who had made the pilgrimage to Taiz from all over the world. He died 15 minutes later in theChurch of Reconciliation.
From reading about Brother Roger, it would seem he was one of those rare and loving Christian leaders. He welcomed anyone.

Mainstream Christianity, in fact all world religions, is dominated by hatred. They hate gays, they hate other religions, they hate each other. They are dominated hypocrites and thieves.

I guess I've sort of hinted at my solution to the problem - but I haven't voiced it because most "liberal" types like to claim to be religious, but in the "right way". There really is no right way, because the mere participation in a thing that causes the vast majority of the death in the destruction of the world, even though you do it the "right way" is still tacit approval of the larger evils.

My wish is that everyone would stop going to church, even if it's one of those big love-fest type churches where they smile a lot and tell you that God loves you.

If everyone stopped going to church, and to temple, and to the shrine, or the mosque, or whatever the place is where you go - that would be the beginning of the end of what divides us.

It's really not a hard concept. The evidence is plain. Consider every evil throughout history. It is all about religion. We kill each other over improvable concepts. How absurd is that?

Oh Dear Brahman! Was that the longest piece of spamcrap ever?

After we get everyone to stop worshipping in public, can we start doing public spamectomies?
