Christians hate science

Home from work, flipped on the horror that is the Lou Dobbs show.... and they actually had a decent report on technology education in Asian countries contrasted with the United States.

We should be embarrassed and concerned.

The Kansas School Board went ahead and...

Despite objections from the four Kansas Board of Education moderates Tuesday, and written arguments from the science standards writing committee, the board's six conservatives OK'd a draft of revised science standards to be sent to the Mid-Continent Region for Education and Learning in Denver for external review at a cost of $22,425.

The standards include controversial portions rewritten by the board majority that encourage a critical analysis of evolution, including study of scientific criticisms of the theory of evolution.

The proposal acknowledged the committee's work, but the most of the group wanted their names off the document.

"In all due respect, you're now not using the work of the committee," said Sue Gamble, moderate board member from Shawnee. "It seems somewhat disingenuous. It would appear to me, if I were a member of the committee, that all of my work was for naught."

Board Chairman Steve Abrams, conservative from Arkansas City, said, "I do thank them for their efforts. Obviously, we have a disagreement on a significant issue."
Yes, we have a disagreement on whether we want our kids to grow up to believe made up bullshit, or have a well grounded education in provable science. Meanwhile, the Asians are crushing our kids in intellect.

Remember, those "nice Christians" are anything but. They are actively working to undermine the future of our country. They are lead by the great Chimp god.

Now Dobbs is interviewing Rick "man on dog" Santorum. What a dick.
