Morals

Received this in email - it's something to ponder.

ETHICS TEST QUESTION:

This test has only one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific.

There is chaos all around you, caused by a hurricane, with severe flooding.

This is a flood of biblical proportions.

You are a photo journalist working for a major newspaper, and you are caught in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot career-making photos.

There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water.

Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a woman in the water.

She is fighting for her life, trying not to be taken down with the debris.

You move closer.

.....Somehow the woman looks familiar.

You suddenly realize who it is. It's Hillary Clinton!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take her under.......forever.

You have two options -- you can save Hillary Clinton, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful women.

So, here's the question -----

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of Black and White?
Once again, from one of my lovely sisters. Is she the one that didn't vote for Kerry because he's ugly?

Amazing we share a similar biology.. :)

So tell me why you think that.. or are you afraid your opinion is completely indefensible.. :)

That's a good one, actually! :)

The reason I think black and white would suffice is because I do not see Hillary as a colorful person! Simple reasoning on my part; however, I know we are on opposite sides on this particular issue; but I agree with many things you say - well thought out and make a lot of sense. But, Hillary? No.

Your parents must be proud. Or maybe, like myself, she was the only one in the family able to rid her mind of the 'yella dog democrat' state of mind.

You're probably one the 15 people in north Texas who is still driving their Volvo around with a Kerry sticker on the back window, right above the save the whales kill the SUVs sicker.

Actually.. my mom is passed, and I don't think dad is proud.. and I drive an Infiniti G35 Coupe, that gets 18.5mpg.. and I don't put bumper stickers on it.. and I don't care about SUV's...

Anything else?

Parents are always proud - no matter what - they will find something to be proud of - that's how parents are!

Yes, my father seems to be proud that I have a good job and make a nice living now. At least that's what his wife has told me..

Beyond that, nothing..

Tom, not sure if that's the sis that re-ellected Bush since I didn't receive the same e-mail. I don't want to give you too much information because I don't want to embarass her, but.... if it was from COOKIE then, yes, it was she.

And it goes without saying that your Dad is very proud of you. Just give him some time to come around. And maybe call him.
