Schiavo *sigh*

There are so many people involved in the case that just need to be lobotomized, okay? It just goes on and on...

So, I'm sure we all wonder how Terri's parents and everyone else on "that side" would spin the autopsy results. You know, the results that showed that half her brain was gone, was blind, in a vegetative state, and unconscious for the last 15 or so years..

Like any good Christian, they simply decided that it wasn't true. They seem to think the reality the pathologists live in is different than theirs. Apparently there is a split universe, and in their universe Terri was talking to them and asking for water, and so on.

You remember that? Remember the parents attorney holding a press conference, where he actually announced that Terri was asking for water and saying she wanted to live?

She was brain dead, as most of the crazy people are.

I went over to our freeper friend Oxen's blog to see if he had posted the news about the autopsy. He screamed bloody murder about it early this year. There wasn't a mention at all. Imagine that. So, I posted the results in his comments, and his reply?

You think her being dehydrated for two weeks might have something to do with that?
I had to go get some paper towels to clean up the coffee I spilled after I read that. They will say absolutely anything - make anything up, pretend the world is flat, just to keep from saying "I was wrong".

They remind me of Fonzi from Happy days.. 'I was wrrrr... I was wror... rwooo.. wuhhhh'.

So, who's the latest person that needs to be lobotomized? Jeb Bush. Why? He wants to prosecute Michael Schiavo! Holy Christ - shit on a shingle.

Gov. Jeb Bush said Thursday he might ask a state attorney to investigate allegations that Terri Schiavo's husband waited more than an hour to call 911 after her 1990 collapse. Terri Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, have previously said their son-in-law waited more than an hour to make the call. An autopsy report released Wednesday didn't address the allegation. ''There's some doubt about when she did collapse and how long it took . . . for the 911 call to be made,'' Bush said. ''Which I think is worthy of some investigation. I don't know what form it would take.'' Bush said he might ask Bernie McCabe, state attorney for Pinellas-Pasco, to look into the issue, but that would have to wait until McCabe returned from vacation. Bush said the medical examiner shouldn't determine if there was a gap. ''This is really out of his realm,'' Bush added. ''It's not a medical examiner's job to determine why there would be a gap if there was one.''
So, they want to see if there was a 1 hour gap, in an incident that occurred 15 years ago.

Is there anybody in their right mind that doesn't find that bizarre? She collapsed, it killed her brain, she laid there for 15 years before being allowed to die naturally, and the crazy people simply will not let it go.

I really hate to use the phrase "too stupid to live", because that might seem like I'm supportive of making people take an I.Q. test and execute them if they score under 110 - but can we lobotomize them and still be good liberals?

Just asking...

You may ask, why does Tom care so much about this? Why does he care that they refuse to see reality, and are more comfortable living in a state of denial?

Well, the answer is; these crazy people influence other people who set public policy. This applies to everything I rant about. It could affect me, or any of us, at some point.

I just need to re-emphasize, I don't give a shit how crazy a person wants to be. I don't care if you want to stand in a desert every single day waiting for a UFO to come pick you up. Do drugs if you want to. Stare at your refrigerator and try to make out images of the virgin Mary or Elvis from the mold patterns. By all means, have at it!

But - Republican's and Christians are trying to set public policy based on things that simply are not true. They’ve completely left the realm of reality, and are simply making things up that are not true by any measure of a sane person.

K?
