Live from the deep south

I made it to Birmingham. Five hours of travel, and 6 and a half hours of meetings later, I'm just exhausted.

I checked into my hotel and flipped on the news while getting my laptop online, and the first story is yet another "pretty-young-white-girl in trouble". The desk meeting my forehead was painful..

There's lots of news out there today, but nothing I'm inclined to rant about.. I'm meeting some folks for dinner in an hour.. then about 10 hours of sleep, I hope..

Oh.. and I saw Finding Neverland over the weekend.. Highly reccomended. Johnny Depp is one of the finest actors of my generation.

I feel horrible for Natalee's family but WHAT THE HELL DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH THE PRICE OF MANGOS IN CAMBODIA? I want the media to be on The Downing Street Memos 24/7 like they did with Watergate.

Ditto on Johnny Depp's acting ability. My wife is full-tilt bozo for him. That's ok. I have Salma Hayek. I can't wait to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Willie Wonka is one of my all-time favorites.
