Quote of the Day

"I'm letting go. You sort of reach a point where you have to sort of plan your life out and I'm sort of at that point. I mean, I love 'Star Wars,' but I'm not going to spend the rest of my life doing it. There are other things that I want to accomplish before I leave. I want to go back to the kind of movies that I made before I was making theatrical films," he says. "Now I can start doing smaller independent films, these other movies that I've been planning to do for the last thirty years." - George Lucas
Translation:

I'm tired of Star Wars being bigger than myself. I'm tired of people asking me about it all the time, and thinking it's all I can do. I want to prove that I'm not a one trick pony, so I'll go make smaller budget independant films that will totally suck ass, because I really don't care if they make any money or not. Sure, the world really loves Stars Wars, and sure, it's a great fictional world that all sorts of great stories can be told in, but screw that. I want it to be about me.

LOL! That's great. Seems to me he's made his galaxy and now must sleep in it. I thought there was supposed to be another trilogy of 7,8 and 9. I never really cared for the 4,5,6,1,2,3 order myself.
