Ya.. I'm sure Jesus would be real happy his message is being spread this way. Isn't that just sick?

So, are we all familiar with the Newsweek story, which alleged a US service member desecrating the Koran by flushing it down the toilet at Abu Graib? The story (which may or may not be true) sparked riots throughout the Middle East and left plenty of dead bodies.

Why do you think the Air Force academy is rocked by charges of right wing Christian fundamentalists converting cadets, and penalizing "non-believers"? Why do you think American Army generals claim in formal speeches that "my God was bigger than his God"?

Is the Newsweek story such a coincidence, or could it be more right wing attempts to inflame the situation in the middle east, to provoke more violence, and to excuse further US military actions?

I would not be the least bit surprised if Bush and the right wing cabal really do desire another serious attack on the United States - even going so far as to stage one. They need it to deflect the torrent of bad news they get.

The next "attack" will not come from AQ. It will come from Iran, at least we will be told as much. Isn't it true that we're already being prepared for it by the recent news stories of Iran's nukular ambitions?

I firmly believe the Christian right wing, and the current seat of political power in the United States, is hell bent on war with Muslims - the proverbial Holy war. It is possible they are rapture Christians trying to expedite the matter.

Now - everyone who has read my blog knows that I'm not a big fan of religious fundamentalists of any particular sect. I loath Islamic fundamentalists as much as Christian fundamentalists. Heck, if Buddhist’s had fundamentalists, I'd be opposed to them too..

Knowing that, we also know that I really wouldn't mind if the fundamentalists squared off in a deathmatch. I really have no problem at all with them killing each other. I think it's sad they are that nuts, but I don't mind less nuts in the world.

Is that harsh? You betcha. A liberal is supposed to be nice, and caring.. you know.. lets get the fundamentalists "de-programmed". Maybe a hug will cure their craziness. Umm... no.. sorry.. this is really serious. There is carnage raining down on people daily. I have no sympathy for the crazies. Declare Iraq the holy ground. Put all of the fundamentalists in Iraq and let them go at it. Be sure and send the cowards who really don't want to fight though. You know, like Oxen. Guys like him will have to be forced to go because they are too chicken shit to backup their own words.
