JFA posted another pic that just simply rules - given that I've alluded to a traditional form of Roman entertainment in the past. I need to find the right spot for it on the blog.

I wrote a letter to the Kansas state board of eductation member who is driving the effort to remove scientific fact from educational texts and replace it with religious myths.

She was quoted in the LA Times as saying

"Evolution is a great theory, but it is flawed," said Martin, 59, a retired science and elementary school teacher who is presiding over the hearings. "There are alternatives. Children need to hear them…. We can't ignore that our nation is based on Christianity — not science."

What do you suppose the odds are I'll get a response?
