Schiavo - Again!

The Terri Schiavo saga is winding down. If everyone is still going to try and benefit from her death, I suppose when you tally up the score, the Democrats come out way ahead.

First, our man Dean is preparing some ads featuring the bat-shit-crazy Republican's trying to meddle in a private matter. The super important thing to notice about this - the Democrats realize that showing how religiously extremist the Republican's are will help win votes. It's rather clever. The Republican's have cast themselves as the party of God (Jesus is Republican remember), and instead of trying to reverse that, the Democrats are going to push it harder. The Republican's are not just the party of God, they are the Jim Jones party of God. Kool Aid all around!

"This is going to be an issue in 2006, and its going to be an issue in 2008 because we're going to have an ad with a picture of (House Majority Leader) Tom DeLay saying, 'Do you want this guy to decide whether you die or not? Or is that going to be up to your loved ones?'" Dean said in West Hollywood, Calif.
Oh yes.. make DeLay the poster child for Republicans.

Remember the picture of the guy holding the sign in the BSC protester crowd outside the hospice? "We are idiots". Love that one. And yes, they are idiots, and they are fucking liars.

They will stop at nothing to attack and destroy what they cannot control. They will lie, cheat, and steal to gain power so they can impose their really insane ideals on the rest of us.

To all of you that continued to propagate bullshit about Michael Schiavo, and you know who you are.. stop fucking lying already, and go get on your right wing crazy freak blog and apologize to Mr. Schiavo for being such a retard, okay?

In the four years after Michael Schiavo won the right to remove his wife's feeding tube, the state's social welfare agency investigated 89 complaints of abuse but never found that he or anybody else harmed Terri Schiavo, records released late Friday show.

The state Department of Children and Families repeatedly concluded that Michael Schiavo ensured his wife's physical and medical needs were met, provided proper therapy for her and had no control over her money. They also found no evidence that he beat or strangled her, as his detractors have repeatedly charged.

The 45 pages of confidential abuse reports made public by court order show that despite the litany of complaints, investigators never found that Terri Schiavo had been abused.

The records show that DCF took seriously its duty to investigate abuse allegations, which became familiar fodder on the Internet: Terri Schiavo was dirty and unkempt. She did not receive proper dental care or rehabilitative therapy. She was kept in isolation. Her husband beat her and broke her bones. He wanted her dead for her money or to remarry. He pumped her full of insulin, hoping to kill her. He often asked, "When will (she) die?" Her lips were cracked and dry.

But DCF investigators looked into the charges and closed them as unfounded with such comments as "the spouse has always been courteous and very compassionate toward his wife" and "all her needs being met."
