I saw Margaret Cho on Saturday (thanks John - 2nd row center!) and she was very funny. At least half her show was political humor. It seemed to me that she touched on nearly every topic I've written about on my blog, but instead of being pissed off like I am, she turned it into humor.
I guess maybe I take Republicans and bat-shit-crazy people a little too seriously sometimes. By doing that, I give them credibility. Margaret clearly had the audience laughing -at- them.
You can just sort of point your finger at them and ask, "how can you possibly be that stupid?". Then just laugh. I suppose it's like that picture I posted below of the guy holding the sign making fun of the crazy people.
So I've got a nasty cold going on too, and I didn't sleep well last night. I think I was running a bit of a fever. You ever notice that when you run a fever at night, you have really bizarre dreams? I'm not sure if it's the fever that causes that, or if the fever just causes you to remember a dream you would normally not remember. But, if the dream last night was something I do on a regular basis, but never remember, it explains why I'm a little odd.
Oh, and it just occurred to me. I've owned my house for a year now. 14 more to go until it's paid off!
