Terri Schiavo's parents - and all those Christian freaks..

WASHINGTON, March 28 - The parents of Terri Schiavo have authorized a conservative direct-mailing firm to sell a list of their financial supporters, making it likely that thousands of strangers moved by her plight will receive a steady stream of solicitations from anti-abortion and conservative groups.

"These compassionate pro-lifers donated toward Bob Schindler's legal battle to keep Terri's estranged husband from removing the feeding tube from Terri," says a description of the list on the Web site of the firm, Response Unlimited, which is asking $150 a month for 6,000 names and $500 a month for 4,000 e-mail addresses of people who responded last month to an e-mail plea from Ms. Schiavo's father. "These individuals are passionate about the way they value human life, adamantly oppose euthanasia and are pro-life in every sense of the word!"

She's not even dead yet and they're already trying to cash in. These are some of the most evil people on the face of the planet.

I had a certain measure of sympathy for Terri's parents before. No more. They are scum. The religious freaks protesting? Scum. Tom DeLay and the other Republican's in Congress who politicized the issue? Scum. President Bush? Scum.

Every one of these fuckers are taking advantage of a poor dying woman. Every last one of them. The news shows cover it 24/7 for ratings. The lawyers discuss the issue on CNN and Fox for exposure. Fucking John fucking Edwards appearing on Fox last week to talk about it, and he's a fucking fraud to begin with. Why is he on it? Exposure. Now the Christian groups are selling mailing lists of donors to other right wing freak organizations trying to raise more money.

Expect the issue to blow up again after she dies. Expect a huge amount of screaming about judicial activism, and how poor Terri was murdered, and her grieving parents pain, followed by all of these fuckers sticking out their hands asking for your money.

And you know what else? Fuck Michael Schiavo too. He got a huge cash settlement and he really doesn't want to pay to keep Terri alive any more. It costs him money, and he's just in it for the money too.

You know who the only sane participants are in this whole screwed up drama? Judge Greer and the other judges who impassionatly and fairly interpreted the written rule of law.

And fuck me too for letting all this shit bother me this much.. If they wanted to be crazy freaks on their own, I wouldn't care - but that's not the agenda anymore.
