The state's House of Delegates passed a bill Tuesday authorizing a $50 fine for anyone who displays his or her underpants in a "lewd or indecent manner."Of course, the meaning of "lewd or indecent" is up to the interpretation of the person who writes the ticket. You think a hot chick showing a bit of thong is going to get a ticket? How about a guy who has plumber crack?
The bill's sponsor, Del. Algie T. Howell, has said constituents were offended by the exposed underwear. He did not speak on the floor Tuesday.Do you get the idea that Algie T. Howell is a boring old prude that has never done anything fun in his life? That's the sense I get.
So, who's going to get all the fines? Inner city black kids. That's something of a fashion statement for them now.
Our government screams bloody murder at Islamic states that make their women wear burkas, and here we have a bunch of idiots doing essentially the same damn thing to some young people who's only crime is being young.
I guess they have every other problem, like poverty, eduction, and crime figured out in Virginia, eh? Seeing how they spend their time ramming their puritanical freak show down everyone else's throat.
Yes Virginia, those of us with a sense of what's really important are laughing at you.

Tom,
I did see this on the news this morning! Working with teens...they would all be fined! I have better things to worry about/write them up for, than sagging pants!
I will be in Virginia next weekend.....I will be sure to walk down the street with my underwear showing (and maybe a little plumber crack too), and see if I get a ticket!
Tommy---
The answer to this is don't wear underwear !!!!!
That last one sounds like one of your sisters.
Don't you ever work at work?
