Evil?

Apparently the Pope wrote a book..

ROME (Reuters) - Homosexual marriages are part of "a new ideology of evil" that is insidiously threatening society, Pope John Paul says in a new book published Tuesday.

"It is legitimate and necessary to ask oneself if this is not perhaps part of a new ideology of evil, perhaps more insidious and hidden, which attempts to pit human rights against the family and against man," he writes.

I wonder if the Pope's book goes into much detail describing how his church methodically moved child molesting priests from parish to parish in order to shield them from discovery or prosecution? Somehow I doubt it...

You would think that the Pope is a pretty bright guy. I don't rationally see how gay mariage could be a threat to family. Doesn't it promote family? I could make a thousand arguments why it does, and have yet to see one reason why it doesnt.

I have a pretty low opinion of the Pope. Tit for tat - I think he's evil.
