Deficits

Something for all you Republicans to think about...

What it had taken 200 years and 39 other presidents to accumulate as our national debt, in the course of only eights years Ronald Reagan managed to quadruple. Because of tax cuts. Because of a refusal to pay for government.

Then we had Bill Clinton come along. We had a balanced budget. In fact, we had a budget surplus, and we were paying down the Republican debt.

Now we have George Bush II, and once again the deficits are skyrocketing.

Somebody explain to me how Republican's are known as "fiscal conservatives"?
