Monday Monday

Ack.. I'm tired today. My cable connection was fine yesterday, so naturally I had to play WoW until.. well, I don't want to say. Lets just say that I'm really tired today. It's an addiction - no doubt about it... complete with it's own form of a hang-over.

I didn't even watch the football playoffs yesterday. I just checked to see who won. Next Sunday, it looks like 3 no brainers and one tight game. Did I read that right, the Falcons went 11-5 for the season?

Let me take that back and make predictions. I'll take the Jets over the Steelers. NY has been horrible against Pitt, but I think they're due. It's like you flip a coin 10 times, the first 9 times it comes up heads. You just know the odds of it happening 10 times in a row are really low. In reality, the odds on the 10th flip are still 50/50, but somehow it doesn't seem that way.

I'll take the Falcons over the Rams. I really don't know much about how either team is playing. This is just a pick based on record, and the fact that the Rams are just not the same as when Warner was lighting things up.

Vikings vs. Eagles. I've liked the Vikings since I was a kid and used to watch Fran Tarkington play. When I quarterbacked my Pop Warner football team, I thought I was Tarkington. My very first pass ever bounced off the receivers helmet. My team sucked, and so do the Vikings. I'll take the Eagles.

Colts vs. Patriots. Now that's the game to watch. Manning is awesome, but the Patriots are as complete a team as you get in football. The mighty always fall eventually, so I'll take the Colts in a squeaker.
