Blogging is weird

One of the things the site counter I added does, it keep track of where people who read my blog came from. Just on a lark, I tracked back one, and found.. a blog from somebody, apparently, named Joan Hiller. It seems she reads a wide variety of blogs, and posted quotes from some, including my own. While what was posted was just that joke about the Bush administration and light bulbs, it's still kind of odd to me, in a good sort of way.

I'll return the favor.. Link:

while i was lying in the high-ceilinged bedroom of dad's new house last week before christmas, thinking about all the ways his behavior and attitude has subtly changed over the last few years, i had another thought: i have less than a thousand bucks in my checking account, but i am probably richer than my father at this point because i only have about $200 in debt, total, including med bills and credit card bills. what exactly is it that makes people desire to be showy about material posessions/live beyond their means?
gotta go; the surround-sound delivery guy is here. i am not kidding.
