Working on a contract for the fed, you have to keep really close track of things..
For 2004, I worked 249 days, out of 365.242199 days in the year, or ~68% of the year. I worked 2074.7 hours, out of 8765.812776 hours in the year, or ~24%. I sent 2257 emails at work, for an average of ~9 emails per day.
My goal for 2005 is to get my worked days down to 240, and my hours worked down to 1960. I really didn't take any vacation of more than a single day off last year. This year I plan to take weeks at a time off.
A quarter of my life spent at work. Hmmm... I don't know if that's a lot or not..
