So ya.. I agree with Roger Ebert.
John, fairly recently.. has had a tarot reading. I'm not sure he's serious about it, or just spending money on goofy entertainment. I understand why people want to think there is some sort of "answer" out there, and that there are other people who can tell us what it is.
There is no magical mystery force guiding our fates.. neither Jesus.. nor our dead relatives. That doesn't mean there isn't more to this universe than meets the eye, but pretending to know anything about it is pretty silly, and those that profess they do know are liars and thieves.
