.. who apologizes is still an asshole.

I think it goes without saying that off-the-cuff remarks from the bobble-heads are truly their perception of reality. Matthews says he's sorry, and frames it in some pro-military language as if it was the military he was slighting in the first place.

In other words.. he's still a douche bag while apologizing for staying something really douchebaggery.

Matthews does that kind of crap all the time. He gushed when Cpt. Codpiece landed on the aircraft carrier, and now says that Obama was going into "enemy territory" when visiting West Point. The problem isn't whether Matthews apologizes or not. The issue is that the view he espoused is how he actually sees the office of the President, and Obama specifically.

Chris Matthews is just another stupid fuck, cut out of the same cloth as Andrea Mitchell.. desperately trying to hold on to the good ol' days, where politics was "civil" and their domain eminent. That's why I posted the pictures of Mitchell, interviewing crazy old fuckers that nobody gives a shit about anymore. It makes me crazy.

Matthews and Mitchell know they are the crazy old fuckers of the cable teevee world, and so they desperately try to re-enact their hey day with the creepy old guests whose hey day is also long gone.

If it were up to me.. I'd fire the both of them immediately and get some people who aren't.. you know.. in-fucking-sane. That would be nice.
