Sullivan is commenting on an article by a staunch conservative who now realizes how out-of-their-fucking-minds the current conservative/republican party is.

Sullivan, being a complete tool as he is, cannot simply acknowledge the realistic observations that lead the author to his conclusions, he has to create a false parity between the Loon Brigade, and the Dirty Fucking Hippies of the left. He absolutely cannot do that.

Of course.. he never, ever, has referenced a single error of fact or judgement from the likes of Kos, or Atrios, or Digby, or Gleen Greenwald.. or Tom of The Infidel Express.. nor any other progressive.

Deep in his heart.. he hates the left, because we know he's a complete tool, and exposed him for his countless horrors of judgement. He'll never admit that the lefties were right all along... so he'll just keep creating these false equivalencies as if anybody is buying it.
