We had dinner last night at the Chamberlain's satellite restaurant, which has a bigger emphasis on sea food. We had a seared ahi tuna appetizer with Asian slaw that was just great. Only 9 bucks for it, and it was huge. I had an 8 oz filet, and 9 oz Australian lobster tail. They had it for half price.. so 33 bucks. That's a ridiculously low price. The filet wasn't USDA, but it was still pretty good.
The total bill was like $120.. which is basically half of what we usually spend on Friday nights. The service was among the best we've ever had as well. If they started using USDA beef and sold the filet and tail for say.. $40, we'd be there very often. That would probably cut into the main Chamberlain's restaurant business though. They specialize in the beef.. and is where we go for Kobe cuts.. which are unreal.
Sushi tonight..

John is soliciting a new client, and it appears the odds of getting their business are better if the soliciting company is minority owned/operated. The list of minority conditions includes Teh Gay, which is rather surprising. Proving to them that John is gay is more complicated than you would think. I suggested photographic evidence, but that might not go over particularly well.
Personally, I don't think that we need affirmative action business rules anymore. It's just stupid. John should get their business because he's the best REO broker in Dallas, not because he likes the forbidden fruit.

The Cowboys are basically awful. A lot of people were upset when Emmett Smith predicted they would go 7-9. That could be an optimistic prediction if they don't beat KC tomorrow. They might be able to turn things around, but not if Romo sucks.
