A judge in Malaysia has upheld a court verdict to cane a Muslim woman for drinking beer, news reports said Monday, re-igniting a controversy over Islamic justice in this moderate Muslim-majority country.

The Star newspaper's Web site and national news agency Bernama said the chief Shariah judge of Pahang state ruled that a Shariah High Court's verdict against Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, 32, was correct and should stay.

If the punishment is carried out, Kartika would become the first Muslim woman to be caned in Malaysia, where about 60 percent of the 28 million people are Muslims. No date was immediately set for the caning.

A big part of the reason why Muslims are in-fucking-sane freaks is because they torture themselves through the denial of things we take for granted. They like to suffer, and when they've suffered enough, they like to inflict that suffering on other people. They get off on it.. because they are crazy fucking assholes that should just shut the fuck up and never have any say over any other human being ever again.

When I watch the football game tonight, I will toast that girl by tipping back a nice Belgian beer... and, just for a couple seconds, pitying those stupid fuckers that are going to abuse her for having such a shitty life.
