NEW YORK – Debra Tate, the sister of Roman Polanski's second wife, actress Sharon Tate, says Polanski is brilliant and a "good guy" and she doesn't think her former brother-in-law can get a fair trial in the United States.
I really don't give a fuck about Roman Polanski.. and I don't give a fuck that the victim of his crime thinks that all should be forgiven.
He already had a trial.. and you know, he was convicted, and fled to Europe to avoid the sentence.
It bugs me the way a number of the Hollywood types try to marginalize what he did.
Surely the American culture treats minors as if they are completely incapable of making an informed decision about anything, including sex, but there is nothing about an "informed decision" in what Polanski did.
