You may have heard that GOP Rep. Kevin Brady, staunch tea partier, is protesting that the taxpayer-funded D.C. Metro didn’t adequately prepare for the anti-government 9/12 rally. He’s even suggesting Metro’s failure to transport tea partiers may have hurt turnout.
A Democrat, however, points out to me that Brady voted against Federal funding for the very same Metro he’s blaming for offering the tea partiers substandard service.
The same asshole voted against the "stimulus package" that would help fund the very same transit system he thinks is "sub-standard".
It reminds me of the tea bagger organizer on disability and unemployment benefits whining about government programs as Socialism.
There is simply no end to how stupid these people are.

I think the great failure of the Right since their awesome adventure in Iraq has been to create a new Hitler for us to fear and fight. They tried with Iran, but didn't quite manage. Their hero Bush looked in Putin's soul and declared it pure, so that one won't work. The business side of the coalition won't let them go after China. We need an enemy damnit!
They have an enemy.. it's Liberals and Democrats. Seriously. I would have thought that was obvious.
This is why the Loon Brigade, beneath contempt, has started calling people like me "traitors".. boldly typing it away on their keyboards.. as opposed, you know, to actually saying it in person and suffering the consequences. They've always been cowards like that.
The Republican political ideology is, at it's core, a religious one. Religion always has to have a target.. hence the Republicans have to have a target. Once they became the minority party, the natural target became Democrats.
You don't even hear them whining as much about the impending Muslim invasion and take over of the US anymore. It's much more satisfying for them to go after the domestic enemy. Us.
