But, something interesting is happening in the world of the bat-shit crazy people. They are trying to become more gentle in their insanity. Instead of lashing out, they are starting to claim it was just "God's plan".
JUDAS ISCARIOT, the disciple who betrayed Jesus with a kiss, is to be given a makeover by Vatican scholars. The proposed “rehabilitation” of the man who was paid 30 pieces of silver to identify Jesus to Roman soldiers in the Garden of Gethsemane, comes on the ground that he was not deliberately evil, but was just “fulfilling his part in God’s plan”.Which leads, of course, to a major contradiction in their dogma.
Far be it for me to expect some sort of logical consistency in Christianity, since they are all insane, but... doesn't it follow that if Judas was just part of "God's plan" then all of us are simply part of God's plan too? I mean, how can the Christians condemn us to hell if they are not condemning Judas any more? Therefore, if nobody is going to hell, then what's the point of being a Jebus freak and giving the Catholics money? I mean, you're supposed to be buying your way into heaven right? If it's free, why go to mass?
I swear to god you cannot make up this shit.. The religious resurgence is just spooky. You can, apparently, make people believe in made up things so desperately that it becomes a tradition for thousands of years.
God damn it's hard to stay on the straight and narrow when even the "virtous" ones are lying scumbags that steal from the poor. I'd make one hell of a criminal, and it's hard not to make that career change when you see CEO after politican after religious freak, lying, and cheating and stealing their way to the easy money.
Yow.. got off on a tangent there..
Back when Sinead O'Connor tore up the picture of the Pope on Saturday Night Live, I thought "whatever.. what's with the bald head?" Now, we all know how ahead of her time she was. Brilliant.
Random thought.. I was in D.C. the summer before last and I highly highly highly regret that I did not get a photograph of me giving the white house the mighty finger of admonishment. I think what I need to do in all my future travels is create that as a theme. I've been to the Vatican City. I should have a pic of me giving the finger there too. I'd have to be really careful with that one though.. It's always really busy in the square in front of the cathedral, and Christians are known for being highly violent.
