In all this, the president deserves constructive criticism, but also moral and political support in engaging actual problems with actual solutions. Sullivan's continual deference is annoying to me. Obama has been a dismal failure, not because of some constraints imposed on him by the American political system, but rather by choice.
That's why Obama doesn't deserve anything but a couple more years of doing nothing in the White House. He'll make a bunch of money after he leaves office, and maybe even try to resurrect the pre-election Obama that people around the world thought could change something.. anything.
