We haven't watched much of the Olympics. We did, however, happen to catch the women's short program skating. What we both noticed is that all the women did the same sort of elements, which must be required by the judges I guess. One of them, not the one in that pic but similar, required the woman to lift her leg pretty much straight up in the air, lean back, and glide around the ice with her camel toe pointed squarely at the audience.
We found that odd... and mildly disturbing.

This is the move I was talking about.. but the pic is taken from the wrong side. Keep in mind some of the girls are so young that they probably don't need to shave..
Apparently some people take the sport seriously, and don't merely giggle while watching.
