They say she used a magic spell to make one of her teachers sick. In retaliation, she has been subjected to searches and public humiliation, and the school has banned the wearing of non-Christian paraphernalia.
Oklahoma is similar to Texas in the whacked-out-christian-freak levels.. I keep telling myself this is a good thing, because these people are so stupid it's not possible for them to compete with the rest of us in economic and professional circles.
I still support religious segregation. If I were the parent of that young girl, I'd have her in a real academic program.. not a freak show.
I know.. I'm supposed to be a good Liberal.. concerned with the welfare of those kids that the christians are abusing.. even if it's young bat-shit-crazy christian kids. But.. see.. I'm an asshole Liberal.. and because I'm an asshole, I take a certain amount of pleasure seeing them destroy the futures of their own children.
