God's Wrath

The religious nuts have been praying for rain in Denver. They implored God to send down his mighty judgement on the godless heathens.

Instead.. the weather in Denver has been magnificent... but there was a sprinkler that malfunctioned and flooded a skybox... belonging to Faux News.

Now.. there is a hurricane headed this way.. expected to hit on Monday.. the day the Republicans start their convention. Sounds to me like God is sending a message.

Slightly more seriously.. there's some chattering that the Republicans will cancel Chimpy's speech and send him to "tour" the damage from the hurricane.. instead of giving his prime-time speech.

Apparently the President of the United States is an embarrassment, not only to the Democrats.. but the Republicans as well.

That's Conservative politics for you.

You know how the Republicans like to attack Obama regardless of what he does? This will work with Chimpy..

If Bush cancels the speech, Democrats push the idea that even his own party doesn't want him around.. if he goes ahead and delivers the speech.. just 1 word.. Katrina.
