The Common Denominator

UNION CITY, Calif. - Republican John McCain rejected the months-old endorsement of an influential Texas televangelist after an audio recording surfaced in which the preacher said God sent Adolf Hitler to help Jews reach the promised land.

"Obviously, I find these remarks and others deeply offensive and indefensible, and I repudiate them. I did not know of them before Reverend Hagee's endorsement, and I feel I must reject his endorsement as well," the presidential candidate said in a statement issued Thursday.

Hagee quickly responded that he was withdrawing the endorsement.

So funny.. Hagee claimed that Hitler was merely fulfilling Biblical prophecy by murdering 6 million human beings and forcing the rest out of Europe.

I wonder what my other Loong Brigade friends think of that?

The issue of Obama's pastor (Jerimiah Wright) is raised again as well.. but all he said was "God damn America". You know.. the same stuff that Rev. Martin Luther King, jr. said.. Hagee, being the good right wing Christian conservative freak that he is, just calls Hitler God's instrument for "salvation".

Maybe he's right.. after all, Doug thinks the stars are aligning so that Russia and "Arab allies" can start the big war of all wars in Israel... and then Jesus is going to show up.. and cast all the non-Christian heathens into hell and take Doug and his friends up to heaven... Of course, that means the end of the Jewish religion, because the Christian freaks think that when Jesus shows up again, the Jews will have to convert to Christianity or be cast into hell with the rest of us.

And they insist, over and over, that they are not certifiably insane.. Just how the religious not-job rapture freaks have any credibility or voice in the media is just beyond me.

So.. we see both candidates have problems as a result of their relationships with Christian pastors. The common denominator? Christianity.. or just plain old religion.

I think in the digital age of Youtube.. it would be better, if you have any sort of ambition for anything, to stay as far away from Christians as possible. I know I'm never going to be accused of associations with lunatic holocaust apologists. Eventually, every last one of them says something really fucking insane, and it's going to get recorded.

Related; I keep hoping Doug runs for some sort of office.. "praying" for it.. please.. a national office like Congress would be great. My hit counter would go through the roof.. I'm also getting into making videos, and I could do some great ones for Doug.. mostly involving "turning sand to glass", "destroying a few cities" and nuclear bomb blasts.

Oh heck.. just city council would be fine.. LOL
